Normally, I'd assume you're just taking the piss, but I once met an apparently intelligent man (a scientist even) who refused to believe that you can live without worshipping something. To him, not worshipping god meant having a god-shaped space to fill.
But there's no such space. You might as well ask: what do Christians believe in if not in Zeus and Neptune?
You, I presume, don't believe in those, and are in fact an atheist in that respect. Like Richard Dawkins, some of us go one god further.

I don't believe in anything but the obvious. I believe that when I wake up in the morning, I will still be me. I don't expect help from a higher power. I work with what I've been given in the world. I guess it can't be explained completely. Just think about how you can't imagine a world without god. Now for me, reverse it. I can't imagine that there is a god. Can't really explain it other than that.

Since man was created to know God, man is religious by nature, and atheists are religious like their theistic counterparts.
A study of history, past and present abundantly confirms this.
In atheistic Communism people virtually worshiped men like Lenin, Stalin, etc., and today Kim Jung 2 of N. Korea is worshipped as a demi-god. Others basically worship themselves. Some people may be said to worship Darwin in their fanatical defense of atheistic evolution, and by such practical atheism more people were killed in recent history than all the theistic religions combined. . http://www.geocities.com/heartland/estates/6535/krealmurd.htm\par
One need not have a codified system of beliefs to be religious, rather whatever you live for is your god, and the choice is either your Creator or something created.
In contrast to the ravages of both false theistic religion and communistic "religion," New Testament Christianity leaves a legacy of building the first hospitals and colleges in America and many other places, and being in the forefront of philanthropy. . From Louisiana to the the Middle East, Christians of different forms are not found waging war with guns, but ministering to the temporal needs of people far more in proportion to any other faith.
But most of all, true Christians seek the salvation of souls, by faith and surrender to the Lord Jesus, who gave himself for our sins in His death on the cross, and rose again to glory. And that, as the evidence shows and those who have done so know, is sure real! Glory to God!

The only thing that is uniform to atheists is that they don't believe in God(s). Otherwise they are diverse individuals who can believe in a number of varying things.
They do tend to base their beliefs on objective evidence.

Yeah, 'cause it's your god or nothing at all, right?
I don't believe in anything that has no proof of it's existance. Fortunately for me, most things DO exist.

that the universe just reappeared one day out of dust. I still don't get where that dust came from know what i mean? Something triggered it to happen and in the course of billions of years the world developed into what it is now.
