Does the U.S. military have more friendly fire incidents than it should given the number of soldiers on the ground?

If they do, could a hero mentality be a factor?

No... absoultely not... In war.. even in peace time war games.. stuff happens... it's the *human* factor... people make mistakes. It happens... It has happened in *all* wars. The only reason that it is more noticeable now is because the media makes a big deal of it... mostly just to trash the military and the US... They have an agenda.
