Well if you really hate school then you will never make it through dental assistant school. Requirements have increased to excepting nothing less than an A in your A/P classes. I have seen many a broken hearted student have to give up this dream to find another. Be assured you can get into programs that only require certificates like LPN training. There programs are about one year after pre-requisites are taken unless you can get into a school of nursing. But you still have to study, start changing your attitude towards schooling, and you will do well. The Professor with a hammer.

If you can handle having your hands in the mouths of really disgusting people.... go for it. I mean really... Look at the way Americans take care of their bodies... can you imagine what things you are going to find when they open their mouths? What strange wonders will you find? All sorts of really cool cold and herpes sores.... bleeding, puss oozing gums... black & yellow teeth...for those who have teeth.... Wait.... there's more: Just imagine the smells.... Before you make this career move, I suggest going down to your local town dump, take a long deep breath through your nose.... that's what you have to look forward to! Sounds better each minute right? I suppose you could always become a gynocologist... same views and smells, just a different hole... Good luck with that...
