IMO it's talking about the power of positive thought.
This is prevalent in almost every religion, certainly every one I have studied or researched.
As a Pagan, I viewed it as New Agey hype. The sort of stuff new Pagans start on before they learn the basics.
I am sure each religion will see a little of their own teachings in the message behind the secret however anyone who has advance beyond the basic teachings of theology (or their religion) will recognise that this is only a starting point for beginners.

Nothing wrong with buddhism. Its a peaceful religion - not like christianity which is so violent.
The secret is one of the universal laws, the law of attraction, which pretty much fits into all religions, not just the Bhuddists.
It basicly says what you think about , controls your world, in other words what you resist, persists. When it flows let it go.
Everyone knows about Buddhism so its not a secret anymore and I dont need to waste any money.

I'm no bible scholar so I can't quote the direct passages out of the bible or any relgious text that say this word for word but the it's the same idea no matter what religion you study.
Who do you think created Bhudda, Yaweh, Allah, Vishnu etc. in the first place?
He found ways of directing his word to everyone so they would understand and used whomever to get his laws and commandments to the people.

I generally stick to teachers of Buddhism who are reputable. There are people out there who are off on a new-age hype and still claiming to be "Buddhist" and "monks" etc. and are not. So, I have not read this new "best seller"... and I probably won't... I'm still enjoying the depths of Pabonka Rinpoche's "Liberation In the Palm of Your Hand".

Your realtor is there to look out on your suited interest. that's on your suited interest to artwork by using your realtor. It hurts your negotiation power in case you talk directly to the seller. usually you will provide in to what they ask for lots extra user-friendly than an agent could. additionally, you desire to make optimistic that your agent is working comps to in basic terms be optimistic you're paying a honest cost for the residing house. in basic terms to enable you comprehend, asking cost isn't all there is with the grant. The sellers evaluate the non-public loan LTV besides as eanrest funds, last costs, last date, cost of fix contingency, etc while handling an grant.

I haven't read it, but anyone who is talking about wishing a new car into their driveway is not talking about buddhism. They might be using techniques of familiarization to acquire what one wishes, but why wouldn't one wish for the suffering of others to be alleviated.
