For some reason, I am so afraid to say I Love You to my best guy friend. I am such a shy person.
How can I gain hope in being able to tell him?

On the other hand, if a girl asked me if I love her, I could easily say 'yes,' so maybe if you can get him to ask you.

Ask him to go to the movies with you or something..Then at the right time tell him how you feel and say "I love you".

Don't say I love you then. What you should do is get a teddy bear that says i love you. It will be easier for you to say i love you.
