y is there "hot" "mild" and "cold" on a blow dryer? do they do different things((like make ur hair not frizzy or somethin))?

After you have your hair styled like you want it, you blow it with cold air to set it.

Use cold...hot makes your roots stand up and get dried out.

hahaha............ if you put it on "hot" and brush it at the same time it will straighten it or curl it (if you have normal hair). then you put it on cold to keep you hair how you like it. (cuz when your hair is hot it will shape to anything, almost)

No it's just Some tempetures r too harsh on your scalp!

cooler temps do notmake frizz........hot is for thick hair... med alltypes..
