They keep rolling off the assembly line. Ford always tries to get the kinks out before they are released to the public. That 6.4 engine is going to be a pulling fool.

As for the Tundra, on their commercial bragging about the power to pull a load and the brakes to stop 10,000 lbs, The contractors who built the ramp used Ford Super Duty's to build it. You see them at the very end of the commercial and a far distance. That should tell you something, also I understand they are offering a rebate or discount on the Tundras because they aren't selling.

Pretty much just first production issues that is with any make or model.. nothing really concrete right now...

But wait about 3 months then get one for a lot less issues but if he wants a "new truck" time to buy it is now if he's willing to chance any first production issues (such as waiting a day as no one stocks the correct oil currently as the 6.4 is so new when it comes in for it's first oil change (Ford recommends 5w40 but the truck can use 15w40 over 40 degrees F but it has to be a special low sulfur variety)

Ford is the best truck out there, hands down. After 30+ years of domination, I doubt there's any kinks on the 08 F250's armor.

There are no common kinks, like any vehicle, there are going to be one-off things that pop up. Nothing that is wide spread. If he's looking to buy one, check the incentives that Ford has now during Truck Month. Super good deals.

I would stay away fro the Diesel for a while to see if it proves itself..When they came out with 6.0 l they said it would be the best and has been nothing but problems.Ford says no but how come they are sueing International for excessive claims warrenty on the them?.But has far as the truck it self should not be a problem as been a good truck. As far as the import trucks if they make them as reliable as there cars they are going to be hard to beat..

I doubt it. He should wait until summer or fall to buy one. They are really nice trucks though.
