A nice Prime Rib Roast / Pork Loin Roast. Smother it in BBQ sauce, season it, wrap it in foil and bake at 325 degrees F for 20 min/pound and until internal is about 155 degrees F (for well done). Take out wait 15 min. carve and serve. Serve with Au Jus or make some gravy.
Steak is good, but unless everyone likes their steak the same way, then it's more work, than it's worth (medium, rare, done). Besides who wants to stand there and make sure they're cooked to everyone's likeness, big responsibility especially when distracted.

Old-fashioned grilled chicken or T-bone, sirloin, or ribeye steak would generally accompany the baked potato or salad. That is what I would like to have.
