a place for everything and everything in its place..and remember that someone had to work to pay for those things that you have and you should take care of them to show your appreciation... one day you will have to pay for them... ♥

The only way you can keep it clean is when you get something from your room, put it back when you are done. Don't be lazy and just throw it on the bed, floor, dresser, etc....put it away where it belongs. You should do some dusting at least once a week. Do it after school on Friday so that way you won't have to clean it on your days off, that's if you are in school. Even if you are not in school or you work, do the same. Make it a habit to make your bed when you first wake up.
If you are bad with getting motivated, try posting a little note on your mirror or dresser and write these words, "Don't be lazy!" You see, when you get into that habit of cleaning, you will want to clean the rest of the house! Plus, practice makes perfect when you have those cleaning skills and can be used in your future as well. Clean now, be happy later and then you can pat yourself on the back. Oh, don't forget to vacuum your rug, because that's where the dust lays, the cleaner, the better! Have fun cleaning!

There are a few ways. Make your bed every morning before leaving for school. Clear off all your dressers of junk, papers, jewelry and other assorted things. Get some plastic boxes at Walmart and start organizing your belongings and store them in your closet. Get a laundry basket or laundry bag and whenever you have anything for the wash, just place it it there and keep it in your closet out of site till you have enough to do a wash. Never throw any item of clothing on your floor. Also when you undress at night, hang up your clothes. Don't pile up clothing that you have worn. Every Saturday, clean your room. Dust furniture, wax furniture monthly, change your bedding, make your bed neatly, fold all your laundry and put everything away, and then finally vacuum your carpeting. Make sure things are all straightened and then you can go out. This is the way I was brought up and now I still follow the rules of cleanliness and neatness after 25 years of marriage. I thank my late mother for her training and her example of neatness. I bless her everyday.

If you are the type that finds it hard to stay organized, make up a set of index cards with one job on each card (eg. put books away, put clothes in the laundry, dust, vacuum, clean drawers, tidy closet, empty garbage cans). List things that apply to your room and use different colored cards for the frequency of when the job needs to be done. (eg. use white cards for jobs that need to be done everyday, pink cards for jobs that need to be done every week, blue cards for jobs that need to be done once a month). Put the cards in order in a card file with index cards for days and months. As you complete a job move the card to the next date it has to be done. Be sure you complete the jobs on your cards everyday and eventually you will always have a tidy room with very little effort. This system really helps disorganized people.

Put your dirty clothes in the laundry.
Put your clean clothes away.
Put everything on your bed to be sorted out...clear the floor for vacuuming...
Sort your papers, throw out old stuff you don't need.
Put your music in one area, preferably near a stereo (if you have one)
Make your bed..empty garbage..
Wipe down for dusting.
In my room my floor has nothing on it..neither does my son's room. Everything is in a proper place. so nobody trips and hurts themselves. He has boxes for his different toys.

Get a king size bed.......most things laying in floors is easily shoved under a king size bed.....that is how I use to do it anyway...
J/K!!! Um, Get those storage bins and put everything that you don't use in the bins and stack them in your closet. Hang up your clothes right after you wash or wear them. Use a hamper!!! That makes a huge difference.
