I lift weights if that helps you understand why my arms would grow bigger.

Draw a picture with a pen on a deflated balloon. Now blow it up. There is your answer. Works in reverse too...that is tattoo on a large arm and let the muscle shrink and you will go from a clear image to a black mess. That is why many old sailors wish they had never done it, cause now as they are past mid life and out of the navy, - not so shipshape anymore so to say, those anchors and sharks and other look like hell. And there is no way to remove them.

I would say yes. The reason is that the skin carries the tattoo. Your arms getting bigger, in this case would be due to increased muscle bulk, the skin stretches (and grows) when the muscle underneath gets bulkier. So the tattoo would have to stretch.

I would imagine if stretched enough the tattoo would lose some of its vibrance (less ink spread over a greater area) but I doubt (unless you developed to the point of being some real freak) that there would actually be breaks in the color.

I think your tatoo, which is spelled tattoo should be "I love my mom". And the cheesy armband your going to pick out of a poster in a tattoo parlor, instead of actually having some creativity, which I doubt your testerone filled mind could ever think of, is going to stretch, and then after it stretches is going to get all wrinkly and shrivled when you loose your "hunky" arms, so I hope you get your tattoo so that you can regret it in 10yrs :)

I have one on my belly, it stretched when I was pregnant (twice) but stayed looking correct, just larger. It shrunk back down to normal after each birth. I had no problem & it never looked skewed.

It might stretch a little, but it shouldn't make much of a difference. If it was a recent tattoo, it might hurt...

Yes! That's the same thing as when women get them somewhere around their stomach/by their hip bone, & then get pregnant. It streches out and it doesn't look good.
