I'm bi too, and I had a problem just like yours. I was attracted to my friend, she was actually more as a best friend, and I didnt want to tell her that I was attracted to her because I didnt want to lose her friendship. so one day I told her that I was a BI, and she acted so wired about it, and she told me that she was striaght. anyways once she saw me kissing a guy and she got so mad, and she told me that she was attracted to me, so that was cool. what Im trying say is that some people are striaght until they are not, so dont rush and try talking with her about her sexuality if its possible.and all I can do is wish you a good luck

make sure this girl is also bi, or a lesbian before asking to be more than friends. if she is not, I wouldn't try anything. if she's not, she might be a little scared from another female asking such a question, and she may not want to hang around with you anymore. unfortunatly some people treat the ones they love differently after finding out such information, like what genders they take interests in. I still haven't told many of my friends that I am bi.

i am a guy that just read this question and the first two answers to my wife who is bi-curious and she laughed at the fact that guys are answering this question. she feels only a girl can truly answer this question. she recons that most girls think about being with another woman one time or another thinking what it would be like to have the tender touch and the experience that only another woman know about other women.
her answer you can only ask and hey what is the worst out come she can only say no.

you should just put the moves on her some night when you guys have had a few drinks. more girls than you think are probably bi. i know myself would love to try it, but never have, and now i'm in a committed relationship with a guy that i love very much, but i'm still wishing i would have tried a couple girls out before hand. i think it would be awsome.
i've kind of always wanted one of my friends to make a move on me a night that we have been out drinking, but it's never really happened. i mean we get drunk, and make out a little bit in front of guys to give them show, and show eachother our boobs, but that's as fare as it ever goes.
so yeah.......make a move and see what she does. she may surprise you.

I'm bi. I have to choose my relationships. For me, lesbians have been too demanding that I be totally gay. Bi women have always been the way to go. My best friend (also female) have made a pact, if we bomb out with men, we will be lesbians for each other.

Well...do you know for sure that's she straight? I'm not saying you should go ask if you don't feel comfortable with it, but trying and find out. As to how to get her to go out with you: Try to get her to go out with you as a friend, then, with any luck, you two might hit it off. Just don't do anything you're not comfortable with. Good luck.

You can ask but I think you are going to be disappointed.

Don't put the moves on her. Tell her. Ask her when the moment is right.

If she is 100 percent straight than she will be not only offended but repulsed by such a unwanted sexual advance.

How would you feel if some guy came along and tried to turn you straight knowing you were gay? If one of my friends who was a girl tried to turn me gay, I would be totally eeked out, and the friendship would be ruined forever.

enjoy your friendship
in your casual conversations, let it come out how you feel about some things and get her opinions
once you know how she thinks, than you'll know how to proceed
if your truly friends, you'll respect each other for what they are or want to be
