I've wondered the same thing. But then again who would they have to argue with? Themselves? I just don't get why they always sound so angry. I don't have anything against them, they are free to believe any way they choose. I don't like being lumped into those so called "shove it down my throat christian types" when I don't try to force my beliefs on them or anyone else.

Religion and Spirituality falls in the category of ALL religions, not specific religions, and everyone is free to answer question and ask them here, if they believe or not. A lot of people are actually interested to hear what religious people have to say, and share their own thoughts on the matter.
Perhaps if christians were more open minded about other people's beliefs, there wouldn't be much people who were anti-christian.

Paganism is actually a sort of religion, though atheism of course isn't. They say its because its the spirituality section, though atheists say they have no spirit, so that's just another lame excuse. They also say they're educating us, which is another way to say bulling. Not all of them are bullies, but I'm sure you've noticed that most are. Perhaps they were bullied in school and find this a way to let out their repressed anger. Then of course, many of them are just trolls. The best thing to do is try to sift thru the questions to try to find legitimate ones. The more you feed the trolls and bullies, the more you'll notice them hanging around.

And this is one of the reasons that Christians come under attack, trying to maintain some little (or huge) elitist, self-serving group. The category is called Religion and Spirituality. Many Christians don't demonstrate any spiritual qualities so I guess that is why the category is defined with two words that don't necessarily go hand in hand. Many people are religious without any spirituality and many spiritual people are not religious.

First off, it does not say pro religion, so athiesm counts as a subject within religious context. Second, Pagan is a religion, so it is appropriate here, even in your seperatist definition of this discussion forum. Third, if there was an area for atheist and pagan people, then other religious folk would join in that debate to. Bye bye now.

Paganism IS religion and spirituality. So they are supposed to be here. A catagory for atheists would be boring; we'd all just sit around agreeing with each other. Besides, most atheists are ex-religious, so we often know a lot more about religion than the actually religious people. Plus, you can't keep us out. And finally, there are 10,000 religions in this world, of which yours is ONE. I don't see the catagory being 'Christians only', do you?

they deliberatly seek out these kinds of areas... Ihave had private message boards that have been infiltrated by the atheists... they will go so far as to pretend to be Christian to get passed the signup stage... and then cut loose with their BS.... the ones who post on places like this and claim to be atheist are, almost always, very disturbed or worse... this is the only life they really have... and they seek the confrontation to justify themselves some how... in their twisted minds anyway...
of course many here are in fact 13 yr old potty mouths... a sad commentary on the state of society today.
I would much rather deal with the wiccans and pagans than the atheists... at least the pagans are honest much more than the atheists...

I want to say 'no' that we should all be grouped together, but I feel that for the most part those who are not Christian suffer emotionally for the cruel things that are said about them. If only those who call themselves Christians could really be loving. I try to be.
