Can anyone tell me where I can purchase African American Biblical hand puppets please? Please help me my neice asked me today why didn't the Bible have any black people. Lesson learned! Now I will use every color when I do my weekly puppet shows!

Go to malls and ask a salesperson where to find them. If there isn't any, you can make your own. Below are some ways. You can make your own way of course!
1. Get brown paper bag (the small type) and draw or glue eyes, nose, ears and mouth. Then draw or glue their clothes.
2. Get brown cloth and sew it to make a pouch. Glue eyes, nose, ears, and mouth. Sew/glue on the clothes. Note: Your hand should be able to fit.

Try Lakeshore- they have all kinds of puppets. You can also try puppetjungle.com and puppets4u.com. You're right... there's a shortage of biblically represented African American characters.
