I have felt like that at times in my life, when everything was on top of me and I just could not see clearly, and yes, I have gone away, if only for I night, took a train ride, didn't even know where I wanted to go and stayed overnight in an hotel. Even that 1 night was a great help, took me away from the situation, gave me a little time for me and helped me to see things from a different angle. I don't know what your reasons may be or how old you are but actualy running away for ever is a different thing, think very carefully.

Great Question but, running away wont solve any problem you have. Even if your problem is your parents, and the way they discipline you. Or you just need space. Here two ways of looking at it. If you cant get through whatever is troubling you right now. Odds are they wont get any better wherever you go. Yeah there a chance you might have more freedom and space but there will be other problems like the luxury of shelter, food and a money. Running away from your problems never will be the answer. Think of living at home as a test in life. Would you run away from your family when your married with three kids. If you do it now you'll probably do it then. Stay strong and be glad your with people who love you. Best Wishes

Don't do that...your parents love you unconditionally, no matter what you think. This is a very tough time in life, when parents have to learn to let their kids out on their own a little and kids need to remember that family always comes first, no matter what.
Why don't you have a talk with your parents and see what compromises come out of it. I suggest going into the conversation rationally and stay rational the entire time. For instance, if you want to go out more with your friends, ask for an extra hour before curfew instead of expecting them to allow you out until 2:00am. It would be hard to tell a responsible, rational teen no to an extra hour here or there.

Yes, I did. Haven't been home in over 15 years. Best thing I ever did was to get the heck out of there. I did have a plan and a little money to help out also.

yes people get sick of things and want never to return, when feeling like that theres prob a lot of stress at home or you are doing to much and taking it all on your shoulders. get some time by yourself like one night a week and do something that you like doing, give yourself something to look forward to and get out from the house for a couple of hours and you will feel better.

but if you did things would get far worse for you because sometimes when you have problems and the whole world is against you just take a step back and look at it again and you will see things are not that bad just change the way you look at things

Yeah, as a teen I ran away from home in 1994 and never went back!
I am still not happy and never will be.

Hello
All the time. But think of the happy things that make you stay. Also think of how you can change the things that get on your nerves
