I want a light colored pug or puggle that is no older than 15 weeks old. It is for my son but I don't want to spend a whole lot of money.

Check your local Newspaper. It may be less expensive than buying from a Pet Store. Also you can check Pug Rescue in your area. I get their newsletters and updates often. Just get Online and type in Pug Rescue then type in your location... Good Luck with your search...

well, your limiting your options by having an age limit so the only way you can be sure of what you get is go through a breeder. You can try the shelters in your area which would be hit or miss, or a pug rescue but the rescue programs are, in my experience, too much hassle. Pet stores are another option but IMO the worst one since most pet stores that have puppies keep them in cages little bigger than crates.

www.pups4kids.com is a breeder located out of Lake County, Illinois. I cannot confirm that they are a reputable breeder, but it would be a starting point.

Also look in your local newspaper for Puggle breeders.

Good Luck !

Pure breeds can be found on the Internet. I hope you can find one within driving distance. Please don't buy a puppy that has to be shipped. Also check the Humane Societies websites to see if you can find a nice mixed puppy with pug in it since that is your 1st choice breed.
