Can't really say what section to get tickets in, but I can suggest not getting tickets on the backstretch, unless you can get them really high up. I was there for last years 400 and set in or around the 10th row. Really the only action we could see at all was the cars coming out of turn 2. Luckily we had one of the Nextel Vision large screens in front of us. The track is just too large, so as I always tell people going to a race "Buy high". Especially at Daytona. Bristol, however, is a different story.

Also, buy the "Fan Zone" tickets, it adds another whole level of excitement to the day.

Weatherly or Fireball Roberts Section, Of course the Nextel tower would be the BEST but they are sold out and very expensive. Make sure that you are up about 25-30 rows to see most of the action as they come out of turn 4 and head onto pit road. I was there the year Earnhardt wreck on the back stretch and came around in reverse. How awesome is he, oops was. Daytona is all about the atmosphere and the diehard fans who have been going for years are in the front tri oval area.

In front of the television at the house. Save your money and try to get tickets for Bristol, Pocono, or Dover. Restrictor plate racing stinks. I was a huge fan of NASCAR I have attended races at Pocono, Dover, Richmond (Old), Martinsville, Bristol and Daytona. I then had a chance to attend the 2000 Daytona 500 to be honest if I didn't know any better it might be different but I've seen the cars run like they are supposed to run un-restricted. I wouldn't attend a race at Daytona if I had free tickets, let alone having to pay for them. Go to Bristol you will find the experience much better.

Okay. I'm not sure of the name of the section, but it's on the backstretch about 35 rows up or higher is best and about midway in the seats. I had tickets there 2 years. They are reasonably priced and you can see forever.

I've sat at the entrance and exit of pit road, and the Superstretch. It was all good, but I gotta go with pit road exit. And definitely close to a Nextel Vision screen, cause theres a whole lotta track that you cant see at that joint.
