Wine with dinner ..make it dry like a Chianti ..and after dinner beer ...if you haven't you should try dark beer like Guinness..although I like negra modello ..it is cheap , dark but on the sweet side ...you can mix in the same day not like liqueur and wine or beer ..do not mix

Depends on the mood. I like dark beers like scotch ales and stouts but late in the evenings i prefer a good port wine. Warres is good for the price...not stellar but affordable.

It's great to get drunk off of wine. Tell him to host a "Tour de Franzia." Get a bunch of people together in groups of two. The first group to finish a 5 quart bag of wine is the winner. Do it.
