Well pretty simple. I need a good, effective FREE anti-spyware program. It can be packaged with anit-virus or what ever but it needs to be good and free. Oh and please no free trials, or shareware, only freeware.

Ad-Aware SE from Lavasoft (lavasoft.com or .org). They have free anti-spyware software along with active monitoring extras.

if you have windows xp, and have servicepack 2 installed, get the free one from microsoft called windows defender.... it got rid of stuff for me that adaware and many other programs wouldnt.... defender always runs in the background too, unlike adaware and stopzilla and others
