My sex drive has been equal to or higher than the men I've been with, so I haven't had that problem or concern. A person can be horny and still choose not to act on those impulses… it's a matter of maturity and commitment.

Seeing your additional details, I have to recommend that you end the relationship. If this has been going on for over a year without your awareness than there are very big issues in the relationship that go beyond sex and trust, and include communication.

If he says he is motivated to try to save the relationship, then get counseling and make him prove his determination. If at any point he starts making excuses for not doing what the counselor recommends or what the two of you agreed on, then you know it is not a real priority for him.

I know it's a long time that you have put into the relationship, but it's better to preserve your dignity by taking care of your needs and not allowing it to drag you down further. I had to end my marriage after being with him for close to a decade due to addictions, and I had a bf for almost 7 years who had lied and was insecure and irresponsible.

It takes time to grieve the loss of the life you built and to redefine yourself as a single person, but it is a fresh start and an opportunity for you to focus on your own dreams and to grow as an individual. Good luck!

First of all, guys do not have greater sex drives than women. That is a myth.

Second, it is not true that no matter what, your partner is going to cheat on you! Where did you hear this?! My parents have been married for 60 years and neither one of them has ever cheated or even thought of cheating on the other one! That is absurd! That's like saying all blondes are ditzy, which they are NOT.

Look, I don't know who told you this load of garbage, but please, believe me, it isn't true. If you find the right person to spend the rest of your life with or if you are in a committed relationship, you just don't cheat. Simple as that. It's called honesty and integrity. I have been in several long term relationships and none of the men have ever cheated on me.
While it is true that there are some real low life, scum sucking, louts out there who will cheat no matter who they are with, most men and women won't.

Have a little faith in your partner, keep the lines of communication open and above all, be honest with each other.

Q) If adult males, no remember how stable, cheat faster, what's there a element for women to stay in dependable or fall in love? A) Ya gotta ask your self. it particularly is a crap shoot. it is their nature. it particularly is tough being a woman. i could hate to be Kate plus 8, it is all i'm able to assert. each little thing you stated replaced into spot-on and that i've got been thinking it for some years. it particularly is made even worse by skill of alternative women who make different cheated on women to be the reason of their very own grief and suffering led to by skill of dishonest adult males. Such makes me ill. there is not any excuse for dishonest. it particularly is an act of impulsiveness. 2 of three adult males admit to dishonest. With women it particularly is a million in 3. extra adult males have much less attachment to kin than do women who're the nurturers. they're going to toss out like used lavatory paper even a center elderly spouse and experience no guilt. Many are immature and self well-known without experience of duty interior the marriage. the main uncomplicated explanation for dying for pregnant women is homicide on the palms the toddler's father to flee fatherhood. sometime maybe somebody will invent an inflatable doll for adult males that particularly works and spare the lives of many women. As you have describe them, many adult males are superficial.

No more true that no matter what a guys partner (gf, wife) will cheat on him.

Women cheat just as much as men, quite probably more.

The only difference is men are idiots and get caught, whereas women are extremely good liars (constant practise) and naturally very good at sneaking around.

Not true.

While it's true that pretty much every guy will 'check out' other girls, most will remain faithful if they're committed. Generally speaking, cheating is a sign that the relationship isn't working.

hell no its not true what makes you think that. just because you had a few bad relationships. dont base that on all guys. i have never cheated on a girl and never will eithor. its a childs game im more mature than that. i was over 2000 miles away from my ex for monthats and im still away from her and i never cheated on her once. some guys are just dumb and imature they dont know what they want so they go around trying to get with all the girls they can and dont break up with the one cause they think they are slick and that girl will stay around so they have to too ****. so trust me there are good guys out there there just hard to find cause our dumb asses are scared to come out

No, this isn't true. I can tell you this from experience.

I can also tell you that any assertion of the male sex drive being higher than the female sex drive is a myth. There is no consistency as to whose sex drive is higher. Frequently it is actually the woman, if she is emotionally healthy.

Don't want to sound like a smarta$$ but don't have a clue.
I have been with my wife for 25 years and married to her for 23, I have NEVER cheated on her and never will.
believe it or not I don't care.

My sex drive is high....but I don't want to cheat...much like I think my fiance has a high sex drive...but I also don't think he'd cheat on me. I don't think cheating always happens just cause one has a high sexual drive...there are many other reasons why one would cheat. And hopefully I please my man enough so he doesn't have reason to stray!
