You make it sound as though atheists congregate in one place because they all don't accept the form of religion.
It's impossible to know exactly where most atheists live in terms to the rest of the world, most people consider even answering what their relion or belief structure on a survey is impolite, so don't put anything.
I'm wondering though, if there was a way to know where millions of atheists gathered, would the religious fanatics go back to the old fashioned witch trials?
You must admit, it is a valid question.

Atheists do not believe in God, the atheists I know on my husbands side of the family are very loving and kind and giving people. Some people don't believe in God because something bad has happened in their lives. Some feel they have no need for God, Pray for the atheists. I believe in God and I love Jesus and that is what has helped me through all my trials and fears. Peace be with you.

I think the state with the highest percentage of citizens who answered "no religion" during the last census is Washington.

Sigh.Definitely not mine. I live in Oklahoma smack-dab in the center of the bible belt. My town with 5 thousand people has 25 churches.
