A friend of mine has a female doctor who has written him a prescription that calls for him to have sex with her once a week. Says it would be beneficial to his health by reducing stress and lowering his blood pressure. Is there any truth in that? Sounds a little fishy to me.

Sounds like your friend has found a Dr. abusing her patient/doctor relationship. If this is true she is violating so many ethics issues. If your friend and the doctor are single and he isn't offended...let the healing begin.

Now that's really funny! And I'm sure you'll get dozens of replies stressing medical ethics etc.etc.etc. and dozens of other replies saying, "right on, send me that doctor's name and address!"
On the other hand, she could be a doctor of business administration, a doctor of laws, doctor of philosophy.have an honorary doctorate or even be a veterinarian.
It's still a funny question. :-)

Sounds like a piece of crud doctor to me! She has no right to do that and it is greatly immoral. I think for a physician to do that is illegal, but I am not sure.

If he or she are not married there does not seem to be any side affects for the presription so I recommend he take what is prescribed.
