Gene's. Not saying that abuse can not cause you to be mental, but most people have OCD and other mental disorders from birth.

I think it's cause more by stress, because i have it, and i notice when im not around certain people my ocd is much less to the point where i wont do it anymore.

That is a very good question, and one that is still argued by experts today on about any disorder. Personally I think it could be a bit of both. Even if it is mainly genetic, it could stil be seen as the circumstances, since your parents are the ones you're around usually, and you may not be able to tell if they're driving you crazy, or you're just gaining from their own genetics.

I have OCD. I just deal with it on a daily basis. Things like nicotine and drugs can make it worste. I check the door three times to make sure it is locked almost every time. I just take it day by day. I think it is genetic.

Demons yup demons are the cause of no self control.Believe it or not.They are testimonise where they accepted Jesu Christ and so well were free from OCD.take care love and joy nothing to stress about.Jesus is waiting.
