Why does Toe tips get split. It is very painful and what can be doen about it?

Initially it was the Toe tip whcih was split but not the finger tips have started to splitt and it is very paiful. Is it relatd to thyriod. Is it related to fungal infections. Kindly advise if anyone knows about it.

No, it's not related to thyroid function. It could be a fungus, in which case it would itch and skin would peel, be red, and Desenex ointment and powder would be very beneficial. Good luck!

see your podiatrist..im diabetic and every winter my feet crack soak them in Epsom salts and put cream on them..take you vitamins. wear good socks and make sure your shoes fit
