You should ask him for yourself and not depend on anyone else, remember the telephone game , a group of people sitting in the same room ,someone asks a question and the person farthest away whispers the answer into the ear of the next person and so on and so on all the way around the room and the last person tells the answer out loud to everyone ,the answer is never right at all ,so cut out all the middle people and do it right.good luck

Well, if they're good friends, they are lying to protect him, or just to make you feel bad. You know how kids can be, and he may just be a little bit on the shy side! I, personally, would be too afraid to tell the guy that I like him, but one time I was stuck in this position, and I asked a friend to say:
"I heard Alissa likes you! Do you like her back? I promise I won't tell!"
Well, she broke that promise and it turned out that he liked be back! If you would like to do the same, be my guest!
Odds are if he compliments you, goes out of his way to be with you, includes you in a lot of stuff, looks at you a lot, ect., then he probably likes you!

This happened to me, too--only in reverse. I really, really
liked this one girl. I asked a couple of her friends to tell her I
liked her, and they said, "Won't do no good, 'cause she don't
like you!" I was devastated!! So, about a week later, I saw
her in the hallway by herself, so I went up to her and asked her
why she didn't like me. She was shocked--she said she's been waiting for me to ask her out because she DOES like
me. Her "friends" lied to me!!
As calmly as you can, go up to him and ask, "I was wondering
if you have feelings for me, 'cause I have feelings for you, but
some of your friends hinted that you don't."
That should tell you up front where you stand with him, OK?

Why waste your time, ask him if he likes you and forget what the friends are saying. I remember playing this game too but I didn't know any better in grade nine so that was my excuse, what is yours?

So, you are in junior high school.....don't worry about the guys...your hormones might calm down later.....try and work on your education then worry about that guy.
