To disagree with someone doesn't mean that they are dumb, worthless ground-dirt and you ae the high, grand pooh-bah of intellegence.
but it does help!

I don't know, especially when people post a question that is just posted to cause intimidation and when people answer questions when they do not have a clue what they are talking about, they just want to throw their two-pennies worth in.
I am a Christian, but have seen in in Christians and how they come across and non-bleievers aswell.
Surely we are ALL mature enough to get over this.
btw, I am 16

Haven't really figured that one out yet.
There are similarites with the Politics section.
People have to continually convince THEMSELVES that they're on the "one right path" to salvation, I dunno.
It's like, their philosophy or theology is the "only" correct one and everyone else is misguided scum.
One of life's mysteries...

Everyone has different ideas and stating self opinion only. this is not considered an insult but an intent to help others with their questions.

Who ever said we have to. Plus look at how some of the questions are written. They're insults turned into questions.

to justify our beliefs,
to ease our false sense of security,
to manifest our need for controlling others.
Notice how we never see people pointing out their own mistakes, only that of others.
Perhaps we can start being a bit humble. I will start. Today I slipped on my diet and had lustful thoughts during synagogue. I repent, and am not perfect. I am often not right.
So there!
Blessings

Perhaps it is because they are anonymous and can say things they would never say to someones face. Generally because they would not be very strong in a real debate.

I agree. It's all just a big misunderstanding including poor communication. And they wonder why they call Satin "the author of confusion". This is what he wants. Think about it.

I agree.
Those who insult here, and in life, are usually insecure people who lack conviction in their beliefs.
Otherwise they could explain their position without degrading another. They could agree to disagree.
