I accidently deleted this question before I could read all the answers.
Okay, so, been friends with this guy for over a decade. He now knows that I am interested, but I told him I would never push because he just got out of a long-term thing.
He is extremely busy, but usually is pretty good about calling back.
I called him last week and said "you're in trouble, mister!" he said "I am? Why is that?" I said "You didn't call me back.." he said "Yeah, I know, sorry about that." I said "Umm...hmmm.." he said "I don't think I'm going to be in trouble for long." I said "Oh you don't think so huh?" he said "Umm hmm.."
So, guys, does he think that I am wrapped around his finger? or is he just being flirty?

I'd say he's being flirty in a sexual context given the way the conversation you related went between you ... I can see why he would too.

the guy got here directly to sturdy. there's no longer something incorrect with ending it. speaking and texting would not advise you have a relationship, extra like the initiating of a friendship that did no longer pass everywhere. you could initiate a relationship on account which you at the instant are not romantically in contact with everyone. stay sturdy.

He's being flirty and leaving the door open if he decides to take action....Make him play by your terms...He thinks he has you wrappped up...show him...
