My roomate's boyfriend is wanting to come sty in our dorm for 3 days. I work 5 minutes away from my door and have school assignments thatr need to be done using the school's resources, but my roomate seems to be hoping that I volunteer to leave during this time her boyfriend comes by. What should I do? Should they be the one's to relocate somewhere else, or should I go somewhere?

It's your room too.. if they want some quiet time they should find some other accommodation.

You pay to live there. You have things to do in the area. It's not your responsibility to relocate because they want alone time.

STAY HOME...NOW if you have things to do when ur done with studying and work...do it..so they can have privacy..

Oh and give her your work schedule..they will have alone time during your work hours.

No. SHE should relocate if she wants to get some.

It's half of your room too, and it's what you paid for. Unless she wants to stay in the room badly, get her to pony up some cash for a hotel room or something.

Be courteous of course, and say: If you're doing it, please let me know by way of something on the doorknob. But other than that.....you have to get your work done!

No, it's not wrong. They should be the ones to relocate, especially because you are staying there for work and study purposes, not just for fun.

Yes they should be the ones to leave.... To expect you to leave is not only wrong but totally inconsiderate. You have a right to be there...and if they want privacy to do the horizontal mombo...let him pay for a room.

i think they should relocate because you live there too and you shouldn't have to put your life on the hold for them. If they don't like your presence then they should find somewhere else to kick it!

why would it be wrong to stay in your dorm room? anytime?

are boys even allowed in the room? ur roommate 'seems to be hoping...' just tell her youre uncomfortable with it. end of story. no need to explain. she knows why.

if she brings him in anyway, you might tell him youre uncomfortable with him being there. if he doesnt do anything either....
stay or go. they didnt give you a choice then.

Hell no. You have as much right as they do. Tell them to get a hotel room.
