Happy those who seize your children and smash them against a rock.
The Israelites were captive in Babylon, longing to return. They wished the children of the Babylonians to be murdered, smashed against rocks. Very pleasant. This is one of those verses that really shows the love of God!

"137:9 Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones."
Context? It, like much of the rest of the bible makes little or no sense, even to those who have studied it. It's just a collection of dozens of books written by dozens of men and cobbled together into one collection by some people seeking to control other people by claiming they had "special knowledge".
I have no idea if "God" is really there, but if He is I don't think He had much to do with the bible; it's too full of mistakes...

The Israelites were taken to Babylon as slaves and their homes and families were killed by the Babylonians. The Israelites are saying by dashing the little ones against the stones that little Babylonians grow up to be big Babylonians and if they are all killed this may not happen again. God told Israel many times to destroy all their enemies, every living idol worshiping person. God didn't want them polluting the minds of His people Israel. There is another verse in the Bible about parents killing a rebellious child. What God means is if you raise a rebellious child who rebels against Him that He will eventually kill Him. God is not saying kill your children. God is saying don't raise rebellious children. God punishes rebellion. God specifically tells us that believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved. God is a caring and loving Lord, but He commands obedience. You can't live like hell and get to heaven.

I've read the bible cover to cover many times. I have not read the Qur'an, and don't really have an interest in it.
Of course, I've seen a lot of copy/pasting of both.
per your request Psalm 137:9
Blessed is the one who grabs your little children and smashes them against a rock.
It's an allusion to Isaiah 13:16 promising good success to Cyrus and Darius, whom ambition moved to fight against Babylon, but God used them as his rods to punish his enemies.

Bible yes, Qur'an no.
Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.
Context? Doesn't matter what the context is. As long as the context exists, Christians will accuse everyone of taking this passage out of it.

I can't get past the first page of the Qur'an that was sent to me in the mail, but I did try, I just couldn't understand what it was saying.
As to the Bible, can't get into it much past Genesis, although I understand its proper place is mythology and appreciate it for such, not as good as Illiad but, whatever.
