is it raised like a scar? i had some of that on one of my foot tattoos and i continued to put A+D on it and the scars all went down and the tattoo healed normally, looks great. you may want to try that. not sure about the itching. may have to do with possible scarring. check with your artist about a touchup. he'll tell you when he thinks it's the best time to get one.

It is probably raised because you are allergic to the ink. I recomend putting either Vasaline or any alcohol-free lotion on it when ever you have the chance. My older sister had almost the same problem and it went away after a few weeks. yours will probably go away after a few months. If it does then wait until it is completely healed to get it filled back in and touched-up. If not, you should see your doctor right away to get it checked out. Good luck!

at first, those are all generic issues to ensue after a tattoo. in spite of the actuality that it would probably be stored sparkling, you may no longer be washing it with cleansing soap two times an afternoon - this is in all probability why it particularly is feeling tight and itchy (in spite of the actuality that tattoos are continually itchy after). I often use any form of nappy rash cream for toddlers, it keeps it hygienic and moisturized. each and all of the superb.

my raised spots havent went away on my 6 y/o tattoo.i was told it was scar tissue due to an inexperienced artist that went too deep.unfortunetly theres nothing you can do about it.as for the itching keepit well moisturized with a fragrence free lotion.it will get better as long as you keep it hydrated!

Well I have the same issue and it's sometimes due to the tattoo artist going too deep into your skin. I had that one done about a year agao and it still hasn't gone down!

You may have had an allergic reaction to the ink, reds are the worst. Happened to me, took years to go down.
A friend had to have hers gone over with a dry needle.
But a simple home remedy is to use a lufa, in time the raised bits will wear down.
Good luck.

As long as you followed the care instructions, everything should be fine in short while. As long as it's not RED and swollen you should be okay. It would probably be a good idea to wait until it is fully healed to go back in for more color.

Some of the raised places may be ink that hasnt settled in yet. Give it time...eventually it will go away.
