You most likely have a problem with the bacteria in your intestines. This may be due to dietary deficiencies or body functioning problems of a physical nature.
Of course, your best alternative is to see a competent doctor, but here is a "folk remedy" for the dietary aspect.
First, eliminate all dairy from your diet. Next, eat NO refined foods. Then add some additional fiber. Do not eat fruit.
Every day, drink 4 to 8oz. of active acidophiles "Milk" You can get this in a health-food store.
The "cycle period" for this to show results is about 5 days, although you may notice some change in 2 or 3.
Good luck, and remember to address this more seriously if it's not purely nutritional.

There's a good possibility the Zoloft is causing it. One of the most frequent side effects of Zoloft is diarrhea. THe stool is moving through your intestines more quickly than usual, therefore the color may be different and it will be softer. You can help prevent that by eating bulk adding foods like rice, applesauce, bananas, high fiber foods. If you've just recently started the Zoloft, your body will eventually adapt. If it gets worse, give your doc a call and see what he/she recommends.

From "About Medicine":
Yellow Stools
Yellow stools can indicate that food passed through the digestive tract relatively quickly.
Yellow stools are often found in people with GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease). Symptoms of GERD include heartburn, chest pain, sore throat, chronic cough, and wheezing. Symptoms are usually worse when lying down or bending. Foods that can worsen GERD symptoms include peppermint, fatty foods, alcohol, coffee, and chocolate.
Yellow stools can also be caused by insuffient bile output. Bile salts from the liver gives stools their brownish color. When bile output is diminished, it often first appears as yellow stools. If there is a greater reduction in bile output, stools lose almost all of their color, becoming pale or grey.
If the onset is sudden, yellow stools can also be a sign of a bacterial infection in the intestines.

You may have Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). If it continues you should probably see your doctor.

Could be Zoloft, but most likely it's your gall bladder. See your doctor.

Probably not. It's probably just something you're eating. It's not always going to look the same all the time. And, it doesn't mean anything is wrong.
