To answer your question directly, if you are looking for "the" god in religion, you will have a hard time finding it.

Religious gods and "the" god are very unlikely to be the same. Religion is a man-made cultural structure to pacify, control, or even subjugate people. The "god" they create is what best suits the needs of that culture at the time of it's inception. Major religions have survived so long because the cultural references upon which they are based were generic enough to not be contradicted by the newer cultures. That "the true god" exists is unknowable (because once you obtain that knowledge you become like god), but there are many things which science cannot explain and empirically point to a supernatural influence on the universe (ie the causation of the instability of the singularity in the "big bang.") Like oil and water, religion and god don't mix (1700 religions on this planet each claiming to be the one true way to salvation -- um, please....)

I beleive that the true god is the God of Abraham, the Jews and most of the Christians. There is the trinity Father Son and Holy Spirit, who are one and three at the same time. It may be confusing but I have already and always accepted it, but at times for every one it can be a little hard to swallow.
One of the most important things to remember(and by this I mean no offense to people of other religions other than Christianity) Jesus Christ, God the Son, is the only savior that has ever come to earth that is still alive, and up in heaven pleading our case to God, I mean he died for us so that we could live eternally with Him. Only a true God would love us that much.

read the Qu'ran,

"There is no diety worthy of worship besides God. Muhammad was his messenger, and Jesus son Of Mary was his messenger.

If you truly believe that in your heart before you die, you will die as a Muslim and thus be saved from God's wrath on those who associated partners and prayed to other than God.

Son of the LORD'S GODDESS named TODD because He comes from within both of them when they are written in times new roman font.

Holy Spirit= H+o+...=8+15+...=151=1+5+1= 7 =1+3+3=133=20+19+... =S+t+...=Stevenson

Good News Bible Ex. 3.14 Says God, The Father is the angel of the LORD described as the I AM(=I AIVI sealed together) and larry cut and sealed together=i am (where r is from the right to left mergered with the m leaves a little flare so that m cut spells rry)

Thus God who is true is a larry TODD Stevenson sealed together like IVI(ie IIII I) and the Father is pronounced fat herr in honor of his german side.

Practically no other man fits those biblical descriptions. Perhaps forcing christianity on man was why ROMAN empire and holy Roman empire failed, because God was not Jesus or emperor, although emperor with his power could call himself anything he wanted, and God might not be able to do anything about it. Just like Jesus couldn't do anything about being crucified.

Winner=Larry=2
Winner=Jesus=2

So who really was the Lamb SLAIN if SLAIN=SiL A I IV?
And Lam=Larri?
Because italians would call me larri and i have carved on my body a I and IV which appears like IIII I.

And if all things to glorify (make famous) God why does a french STOP sign have the name I ARRET(IARRE T.) on it? And the english sign has the name pronounced TODD on it?

ex. God=CTod when G has a T within it.
So if GOD=GAWD
then TOD=TAWD=TODD
Also the top of a times new roman font God glorifies the number I7 which is Tod's birthday.

So how do you recoqnize God? when you C I7 Tod, meaning my name and birth, perfectly good holy roman descendant, quite possibly. Thus God's personal name should have been pronounced Larre Tod and thats the way it just is. Sorry all other angels hoping you were God but like the angel talking to John in rev. you really are god's servants, not his bosses.

So bless you for searching for god.

I don't know. My experiences with the Prime Identity are really beyond verbal description, but I find many similarities when I read of other encounters, whether it's in the Bible, a movie or the Oprah show.
I can see why one should not try to squeeze God into a single image.
I can only testify that the Prime Mover is.

It's great that you are questioning religion but no one can give you an answer to this question.

You should do some reading and come up with your own answer.

I recommend. "Letter to a Christain Nation" by Sam Harris. It is a short book and an easy read but very interesting.

It may not be quite what you are looking for because he actually is an atheist but it raises some important questions. Religion is based on faith and you are probably confused because you are looking for a logical answer. The logical answer is that there is no god!

Here is what I've found in studying the Bible:

(Exodus 6:2-3) 2 And God went on to speak to Moses and to say to him: "I am Jehovah. 3 And I used to appear to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as God Almighty, but as respects my name Jehovah I did not make myself known to them.

(Psalm 83:18) That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth.

(Matthew 4:10) Then Jesus said to him: "Go away, Satan! For it is written, 'It is Jehovah your God you must worship, and it is to him alone you must render sacred service. . .
