Spaying a female is more expensive than neutering a male cat. It's similar to a woman having a hysterectomy, it's surgery. Where I live it can range between $35 to $135. Call different vets in your area for ball parks prices. If she hasn't had any vaccines ask them to give you a price on that. Check with your local shelter or humane society, they may be able to provide info on a low cost spay program.

My family paid $65 for spaying for the two female cats they have ($65 each), and I paid $60 to neuter my male cat at 6 months, plus like $13 for a medicine he needed at the time. Where you do you live???

I have just paid £ 49 to have my female cat spayed. If money is a problem, there are animal charities that will spay your cat for free if you are on benefits. Please don't let money be the reason you don't have it done as there are too many unwanted healthy animals put to sleep every day

I paid 160 dollars, but they did blood tests first to make sure kitty was healthy enough first.

if you want to spray your cat you can actually go to the auto shop and use the ones for cars for your cat, they do the same thing at vet store; it's very cheap
