no, He is impartial.

Not only can He, but He will. God didn't put any gay genes in man. God said don't be gay - man should not lay with man. Not only will God take the habit away, but He will take the desire out of your mind also. I smoked cigarettes for 43 years and He delivered me from smoking. I couldn't do it myself. I had quit so many times that I couldn't count the times. But when God delivered me, I have no desire to ever smoke again. I smoked 2 packs a day and people can smoke all around me and I don't even want one.

I can't believe that the people anwering this question are so closed-minded.

I am sure that "god" can take away those desires and feelings, but why would he? He is supposed ot be impartial and love you unconditionally for who you are.

It is the religious establishment (people, not god) who frown upon homosexuality and have deemed it a "sin". People are who they are. If you are homosexual and lead a heterosexual life then you are just lying to your god which really is a sin.

what do you think god is? a miracle worker?

You may be conned into believing that the feelings have gone by some charlatan pretending to 'do gods work' and charging a hell of a lot of money for it but they will only surface again. If you have faith then you are what your god made you and if he is 'all powerful' then he doesn't make mistakes and being gay can not be against his will.

Hang on, if god created mankind as the religious believe, then he also created gay people...
Or are you saying that god didn't create them?
So he isn't all-powerful - or unique - as there must therefore be another god somewhere else creating gay people!
Or hey, here's a thought...evolution!

If there was a God, yes, that would happen. Unfortunately human negiglence of the facts lead us to delusional paths of self-torment in conforming to a specific value

it is very indeed possible. Balancing of our desires for our greatest good is tough when it comes to homosexuality. Probably tougher than alcoholism or drug addiction because it is so subtle and people will sympathise with it as they used to do with alcoholism (and still do but not so generally)

With God all things are possible.

yeah, but it's more about self control. thing is, desires don't neccessarily make you a (insert noun here). You're not a liar until you've lied, you're not a murderer until you've taken part in a murder, you're not gay unless you perform homosexual acts (in the mind, in speech, and in reality). By in the mind, I mean your mindset: do you believe it's right or not wrong? do you condone it? stuff like that. By in speech I mean if you say you're gay, say nothing's wrong with it, stuff like that. and you know what I mean for acts...

God cannot take away anyting at all . God is not an idiot to create man and wo-man and then men want to sex men and women want to sex women. To me do it in your bedroom. The meaning of gay should not be applied to men sexing men and women sexing women. Keep it in the bedroom. To me they are queers. not gay. not homsexuals as I do not walk around saying I am hetresexual. What business for them to tell the world what they do in their bedroom.
