Prior to passage of the Energy Reform Act of 2005, Microsoft Windows was programmed to calculate the start of DST as the first Sunday in April and the end on the last Sunday in October. If the software patch is not applied, you will have to manually advance the system clock one hour on March 11. On April 1, when Windows move the clock forward you will have to back it up an hour. A similar process will occur in October and November when the switch back to standard time takes place. This whole scenario will repeat itself each spring and autumn unless the patch is installed.

daylight hours decrease fee expenses actual began early this 365 days and computers at the instant are not all on a similar website. it is occurring to truly some computers. I even have not got here upon a patch for my XP as of yet, yet i'm finding! I think of the situation will restore itself whilst the actually date arrives. till then, do exactly no longer enable the clock sync and manually regulate it.

Not to worry. Unless you are running a business where paperwork has to be accurately time/date stamped, it it no big deal.
Windows XP will update automatically. Older programs can be fixed by right-clicking on the clock and select "adjust date and time."
or, you can wait three weeks and the previously-set DST will kick in.
