If there's no contact b/w the vehicles, your defense is she over-reacted. But when she did this, was your vehicle moving or was it at a complete stop?

That is why they sell uninsured motorist insurance. If the amount is small enough you can pay, then do so. If not have her report it to her insurance. Her uninsured motorist will pay for her damages less a deductable (250$ in most states) Then her company will come to you for payment. They will set up a payment plan and they do not charge interests. Then you can make payments for the damage. Just the cost of driving without insurance. Not having a license or insurance does not make you at fault. Overrunning the stop sign does.

well obviously you indeed are in a heep of trouble if you get caught. This woman could easily get you in a lot of trouble, and it wouldn't be her fault, it would be yours. Now that the finger pointing is out of the way, the best thing to do is go talk with the woman. Actually talk with her face to face. Explain your situation (truthfully) and together come up with some sort of plan of action as to how you are going to pay for the damages. Have her go to a body shop and get a quote. You DO have to pay the woman, but by working with her you may be able to avoid going to jail and getting a TON of fines. I hope this helps.

Get a licence and some insurance, this is not a position you want to be in again.

You are unlicenced, and drove without insurance, so you have 2 choices. 1 is to pay for the damages, and the other is to be charged by the policy, and still pay for the damages. Consider yourself very lucky your careless disregard for the law did not result in injury or death. Get a licence and insurance or stay off the roads in future.

I think that paying for the damages(even if you don't think its your fault)is a lot better than going to court, paying fines, being on high risk ins.and losing your lisence for 7 years! If I were you I would call this person immediatly and agree to pay for the damages before they do call the cops and all of this happens. Then don't drive without a lisence(unless you enjoy serving jail time)and get some ins.

Sounds like you are in trouble if you were driving without a license and no insurance you are facing possible fines and even jail time I'd find some money to fix the problem and get your license and insurance before you drive again.

I think that you're going to have to pay for her damages -- out of pocket. You'd also better get your license and some insurance. If you try to avoid paying her, you could get into some trouble when she reports the accident.

If you're at fault, you'll need to pay for it. Also, you might go to jail for driving without a license.
