I normally go to a boxing gym to get my exercise in but recently my working patterns are making this very difficult. I live in a very small apartment and can't really make much noise. I also can't really go jogging outside because I live in a bit of a rough area and would only be home at night. I can't afford to go to a gym that would be open during the late nights, How can I get my exercise in? I hate it when I can't exercise and really need some tips on how to do it indoors.

You can pick up exersize bikes for really cheap, or you can get a mini trapette which is good exersize. If you don't want to spend any money at all, do you have a step in your apartment, this is a very good workout, just stepping up and down. How about a skipping rope? that is fantastic exersize and builds your fitness level up quite rapidly (I expect you used to do this at the boxing gym). Good luck and I hope you find something you enjoy!

You could try a punching bag in your room.. or taebo is also a good way to work out. As long as you have shoes on and possibly have a yoga mat or rug under you, then you shouldn't make too much noise. Also, you could get dumbbells. I know all of these require expense, but if you're not paying to go to the boxing gym, it would be worth it, right? Hopefully that helps. Good luck!

Dont use escelators or lifts, use stairs- if no stairs then walk up the escilators,

get off an extra 2 bus stops to where you usually do. If you find it takes up too much time then run!

put on strap on weights around your wrisrts and ankles- you can get these from most sports shops and from boots.

get a bike which folds up- this means it wont get stolen as you have explained you live in a rough area, as you can fold it up to take anywhere- even on tubes. You can also rent bikes in some places for about £5 a day

Try to hold in your stomach during every thing you do to hold in your stomach, imagine your belly button touching your spine.

Correct your posture alot, it helps your body to function better

If your job involves alot of sitting down, then try squatting and then standing alot to practace leg muscles, also try buttocks clenching.

Go food shopping daily so you always have something you are lifting home- and go by bus/foot/train as you are expending excercise as oppose to a taxi or car where you are not.

Dont use remote controls, throw things at bins or say yes to the offer of a cup of tea- unless you are making it-

get a decent pedomiter and attempt 10000 footsteps as recommended a day. Make it your priority to get it to 10000 steps. (n.b not all pedometers are acurate. they usually have in the description what the error %is, check this as some are as high as 50%!)

get a cat who needs feeding, carring home tins of cat food for/ ltter tray cleaning, and this is also time where you may have sat at home eating infront of the tv

try to excercise by jogging in day light either first thing in the morning as the sun comes up- even if it is for only 15 mins it is better than nothing. Or try at the weekends travelling to somewhere nicer just to jog around abit- have a look in the national trust publications/on website for green places to run or hike or walk in.

good luck.

i do no longer think of you will drop 2-3 pounds a week and not using a private coach, and a minimum of and hour of severe exercising an afternoon. start up inclusive of your food plan. i'm not sure in case you're male or lady. yet once you're male stay around the 1700 cal mark, in case you lady go right down to approximately 1100 cal. -Push ups (changed, one surpassed, arms jointly, arms aside) -sit down ups (legs right this moment up, legs bent at a ninety perspective up, reversed) -squats (against the wall for 5, 2 min classes, relax a fifteen pound weight on your lap, carry your arms parallel to the floor and open and close your arms right this moment) -leg lifts

I have an exercise bike that I ride for 60 min/day. Try walking in place. Go to the library and get a book of exercises; try them.

As long as you have enough room to hula-hoop, your fine. It's a great work-out. Do it while your watching tv or listening to music. Crunches don't take up much space either and are really great.
