I will be there for three days I dont want to spend big money for parking. Could I park outside of the city, and cab it in to the city. If so where should i park. Thanks

There is a "park-and-ride" in Secaucus, NJ, that you can park your car and take the bus across into the city. It's not too expensive and the ride is pretty quick to mid-town. Check with New Jersey Transit. Enjoy your trip, NYC is a great place.

parking is $25/day. It will cost you $20 each way by cab to get to someone where it is cheap to park (and take a couple of hours). You might as way pay to park in the city

I've parked at the hotel (Hilton?) across the street from Penn Station in Newark and taken the PATH train in from there.
