Oh my goodness! I haven't thought about this in years! But here we go!: My oldest son was 2 at the time. He was sitting on my parent's bed playing with his batmen toys. Well, little Joe decided to lay one batman on its back and place the other batman on top of him and was making these oooh and ahhh like noises. In between the oooohs he looks to my mom and says "I'm mommy and daddy". Oh my GOOOOODness! I didn't know what to say or do. So I just turned red and walked away

My son is 2, very loud and very excitable. As you know, young children can garner a lot of attention from people. We were on the subway, and this lady got on the same stop and would not stop talking to me and my son ("oh he's so cute" "oh mrs, watch out! i think he put something in his mouth" "aren't you just sweet") in a very loud voice. I was smiling and being polite, while my son stared at her with a funny look. All of a sudden, he lifts his finger to his lips and says "SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" as loud as he could. She started to giggle, and then he became quite cross and said "NO! STOP! SHHHHHHHHH". I wasn't sure whether to laugh or be horrified. Everyone on the train heard and were hiding behind newspapers and books, laughing. Needless to say, I laughed until I cried when I got off the train. My son son then turns to me and says "loud lady mama."
Ahhhhhh....kids are so precious. LOL

i don't have kids, but i do have an amusing story about my brother when he was a kid... we grew up in a small town and once when we were out to dinner with my extended family, my brother looked out the window and screamed, "Look at the hooker!" meaning the tow truck out in the parking lot. Hope this helps! :^)

Every time we take our son to a certain store he will ask his dad, (in a very loud voice), "Daddy did you pass gas? Because I smell passed gas."
I'm not sure why he only does this in the one store, but it embarrasses my husband so much that he won't shop with us.

While pushing my then 3 year old in a grocery cart, she said "Look at that old lady, mommy, that ugly old lady" at the top of her voice. I don't know where she learned the word ugly, but I wanted to crawl into a hole. : /
