Are looks the most important thing?

Will men choose to stay with a good looking woman even if the relationship isn't progressing just because she is pretty? Or do most men think that having things in common (along with great sex) is more important than looks?

I care less about a woman's look
infact it is not in my top list.
I can't say looks are not important , but thank God a woman who is pretty to me is ugly to you or vice versa. each of us has a different taste. But to stay in a relationship or marriage I value a lot more than looks.
Not just sex or the physical stuff but everything .

Looks play a big factor in a relationship but with nothing else besides looks your relationship is most likely doomed.
Someone's looks isn't the only thing that makes them an attractive person. You can be pretty and ugly at the same time.
What I mean is... say your great looking but you have no personality, no opinions, no insight on things... really, how attractive does that make a person?
In my opinion, not really attractive at all.
Like that old saying goes, "looks fade".

Looks are very important to me. Would not date a babe with a bad personality though. A woman that is pretty good looking and has a good personality works for me.

I use to think that way but older and wiser, I know now that looks have little to do with a long lasting relationship. Same with sex.
