What do you think of parents who never say "No" to their kids? Who don't correct their kids when they can see they are being rude infront of relatives and friends? Who cry when their kids yell at them? LOL Don't you think that's freaking wimpy? I do! Grow up and be the adult and stop trying to be your kids "friends" above being their parent! Grow a freaking backbone! What do you think?

Don't spoil your kids. Teach them what life is like, what the world is like and what to expect. Especially when told NO. Prepare them, because not everybody is going to be nice to them or accept their tantrums when they don't get what they want. Nobody is going to cuddle them! If YOU cry when they yell at you, you have more than one problem going on other than growing a backbone! Step up!

I agree with you. Parents who spoil their children are usually lazy, too lazy to either pay attention to their child's needs or to notice that they throw the fit to get their attention and probably will play with that toy they just screamed and cried for, for all of 2 seconds before they want something else or they will throw a nutty.
I might add that there is a difference in spoiling and giving your child more than other kids get. I buy my children mostly everything they want, BUT if they whine or cry, it goes back on that shelve and we are gone. My children know how to behave in a public place and they know what is expected of them in a restaurant. They say please and excuse me, and if they don't I correct them and continue on.

Spoil your kids with love and they will be great adults, spoil them with material possesions will make them selfish! You can spoil your children but you must also know when to say "no"

I "spoiled" my daughter, but I also said "no" when it was called for. You can "spoil" a child without spoiling the child. Obviously you either are not a parent or you don't know HOW to parent if you don't know the difference.

What do *I* think of parents who spoil their kids? I think they make my job a lot more difficult than it has to be.

When it comes to my 23 month old baby I'm pretty much a warden. Get them when their young.

I despise them. There is a user on here named EMaWeeE and another named Lori who brag about how spoiled they are. It really bothers me that people give their kids everything and let them be brats. Not implying those mentioned above are; I've never met them. It ticks me off.
