There are those of us who try to listen. Most people simply can't get past their own selfish needs and wants to really listen and try to understand.
Yes, everyone lies at one time or another.
Maybe if you could make yourself into a better person more people would be interested, therefore more inclined to listen.
If you have a problem that you are allowing to have power over your life, maybe it's time to pay someone to listen.
If you don't have the right kinds of friends, become the kind of friend you would like to have.
Do some things that are interesting, to become a more interesting person.
List the places you are meeting the people you know now. Maybe you are looking for the wrong kind of people in the wrong places.
Become a good listener yourself.
