Hi, I would like to know can i lose weight with a low calorie intake. Some days I do 1200 calories, then on some days I do 700 intake. This tends to happen because I am so busy and dont feel like eating that much, and really I want the weight to come off. I was trying to do a no sugar no starch diet. Some days I just so happen to have two slices of bread. I drink 3 litters of water a day with green supergreen powder to make my water alkaline.and i squeeze in some excersize in but not faithfully.but i have put a stop to sugar, and bread, just once in a while i eat some bread someone give me some input on this please thx.

if you go too low with your calories you won't lose that much because you're body will think you're in starvation mode and in a result to that the body will hold on to your fat in an attempt to basically preserve energy for your body. I used to eat below 1,000 calories and yes I've dropped some pounds but it kind of left me looking "skinny fat". once I started eating right and ate every 3 hrs I lost more and got more toned (plus excercise of course). When going for cereals stay away from the ones with extremely high sugar content so check your labels it should not exceed 5 grams.

burning more calories than you take in=weight loss
eating more calories than you burn=weight gain.

I suggest that you lower your calories to 300 and go down to 150 a day.

That's what I do, and I've lost 25 pounds in under two months.

It's really not difficult at all.

Just make sure that you burn more calories then you eat.

I try to burn off at least double what I eat a day, but not always.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

Yes but don't go lower than 1500 calories.
An average adult consumes 2000-2500 calories per day.
If you Plan to restrict 500 calories, which would be consuming 1500 calories a day, you need to burn 500 calories to lose weight.
Etc Etc.
Talk to your doctor, GP, hospital or dietician for more Info. =)

find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will give you how many calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take off 300-400 calories that number and thats how much you need to lose.
you are probably not losing because you are not eating enough and your body is saving every single calorie it can save.

Hey, you'll never lose it permanently without exercise. If you don't exercise, you lose muscle mass, become weaker and less healthy.
You need at least 1200 cal/day to obtain proper nutrition. And exercise at least 20 min at a time 3 times a week.
