If you have normal or combination skin, I recommend Aveeno Daily Radiance Cleansing Pads. The cleanser is not drying, rinses well and the pad provide exfoliation.

My favorite mask is Milk of Magnesia to absorb oil and tighten pores. Just put a thin layer on and let it dry for 10-30 mins. before rinsing off w/ warm water.

Other home remedies:

Plain whipped egg white will help tighten pores.

Or you can crush up 6 plain, uncoated aspirin tablets and mix it w/ a little water to make mask.

Or use one of these variations to make a cleanser or mask:

Mixture: 6 crushed aspirins, mixed with the liquid facial cleanser at hand (I usually use either cetaphil or tersaseptic), and 1-2 drops of tea tree oil.

Mix half a teaspoon of crushed tablets with Queen Helene Mint Julep mask and aloe vera gel.

Held 6 aspirin in my palm, and slowly dripped water onto them until they fizzled and dissolved! Once dissolved, I added 2-3 drops of honey into it and mixed it around with my finger. Applied to my face. Keep it on 15-20 mins.

Mix 6 aspirin tablets with a little aloe to make a mask.

Use about 6 uncoated tablets, witch hazel, tee trea oil, and aloe to make a thin paste.

For toner:
8 ounce bottle of distilled water add four uncoated aspirin
or
mix of 1/2 water, 1/2 witch hazel, 15 aspirin, and 2 drops of tea tree essential oil and 2 drops of rosemary essential oil

This is what cosmo. says, To soften your skin and minimize pores, apply beaten egg yolk to your face and let dry for 10 minutes, then rinse, suggest Laura and Suzanna Cabot, cofounders of the Not Soap, Radio beauty line.
I use a mud mask and a good toner to clean and minimize mine.
Here are a couple more recipes i found online:

Sugar Scrub: Mix 1 tablespoon each of sugar, lemon juice, olive oil, and honey. Wet your face, then apply the scrub, rubbing gently in a circular motion. Remove with a warm, wet washcloth, then rinse.

Egg White Mask: Mix two egg whites with a few drops of lemon juice. Apply, leave on for five to seven minutes, then rinse. "As the eggs dry, they tighten the skin and pull debris out of the pores," Baxter explains. "Lemon, a natural fruit acid, also helps exfoliate."

Clean and clear works very very well. I currently have no acne on my face since I started using it. It works very well. It comes in a orange liquid formula and you can cleanse you face with it using a cotton pad. You can litterly see the dirt on it coming from your face! It works wonders. After cleansing, apply garnier night gel in the blue tube. It is for acne prone skin and moisturises your face very well and also minimises your pores and even takes away scarring! Creams often make you break out even worse and don't usually minimise your pores. Try it! It really works and is the only thing that I use on my sensitive acne prone skin. It is so soothing! Hope it does the same magic for you! Good luck!

Raw honey works wonders because not only is it natural, but it has anti-bacterial properties that works just as great and probably better than any lab-made cream in the market. I Highly recommend honey facial masks.

I don't know any home recipes but I recently got this kit at the drugstore for $20- it works miracles. Its the Clean & Clear Advantage Kit, it contains the cleanser, moisturizer, and spot treatment. It got rid of almost all my acne overnight, and made my pores seem smaller. I swear by it.

I have a few.

First one!

1. Take 2 lemons.
2. Squeeze the lemond into a cup.
3. Wash your face with the lemon juice, maybe it will sting a little, if you get it in your eyes or something, but it really works!

Second one!
1.Take some plain salt. You know, no bath salt or anything, just like, sodium.
2. Wash your face with salt and water it really seriopusly works!

Third:
Use Biore! I swear its awesome!

I've used natures cure for almost 1 1/2 yrs. It comes with a monthly supply of natural pills to take twice daily. It also comes with a cream for blemishes. It costs less than 10.00 and works EXTREMELY well! In fact, I stopped using it for about a month now because they no longer carry it where i was buying it from. My face has never broke out so bad! so if anybody is familiar with this please let me know where it could possibly be sold so i can get it again.

yep i have a great homemade recipe that i use and love:

a few drops of lemon juice
1 tablespoon of honey
half an egg white

the honey for smootness
the egg white and lemon juice for cleansing and minimizing pores...

take a hot, hot wet (small) towel and put it to your faces...repeat a couple of times (make sure the towel is hot)- this will open the pores
then....
apply the mixture to your face.....let dry for 15-20 minutes....rinse off with warm water and then splash your face with really cold water!!

works soo great! try it out!
