probably take classes because even thoguh you read a book about the language and tutorial its best if someone can really show you how to pronounce the words.

There is a program out called Rosetta Stone and you can use it learn Turkish, or you could start by spending time around people of that culture and pick up words and conversations and get familiar with it thereby learning from the people who use the language the most. I hope this helps.

Try to find an online training course, then you could learn 2 your own pace. Not a college, but a site that only specializes in teaching the language. Type in learning to speak Turkish lessons.

The best way is to move to Turkey and be surrounded by no one but Turkish speakers. The most realistic way would be to take a class. Look up schools in your area and see if any have classes in learning Turkish. Or, use an Ouija board and try getting possessed by a dead Turkman.

Try going to a bookstore and get some books on foreign languages they have a huge selection of languages you can learn. Get the beginners of turkish then increase yourself up also you can get software on learning Turkish too. both the books and software will not cost you much.

Haji is close; the best way is to live totally immersed in the country whose language you wish to learn. Having learned four languages in my time, I've come to appreciate the "total immersion" way. But if you can't do that, then the next best thing is to find a foreign national who understands English well enough to teach you the subtle aspects of his language, including correct pronunciation and, if applicable, tonal inflection. Good luck.

well i dont personally speak turkish. but i do speak spanish as a second language. i learn it quickly by buying a book (like a turkish dicionary) and starting with a certain category, such as colors, shapes, places, ect. and i would look them up right them down go over them and when you are around your house or driving somewhere practice the words by saying the things you say in that language. take a color for insance in spanish red is rojo. if i were driving, or looking in a closet or something and i saw red i would be like rojo. and just keep studying them and it will come easy. but the downside of it is, grammer.. i am in high scool so we are available to workbooks that teach spanish and the grammer.. but thats just a bit i think would help you with the vocbulary :)

Talking with and learning from someone who knows the language is easiest, but, in a rush situation, there are CD's by a guy named Michele Thomas (sp?) who teaches languages and you can learn a lot really fast. I have tried a lot of language programs, but this one is by far the best.

Take a class that will teach you, because conversation in the language is the best way to learn it.

The best way is to live in the country. you will be force to speak, read, write and listen to the language. This will help you to learn it the best, faster way.

If you can't afford to live in that country, getting software, join classes, buy dvd on the movies made/speak in the language, gets books etc.

In order to learn faster, you have to almost live your life with the language.
