is if offensive to buddhists if i name my animal buddah?

i was thinking about naming my bird buddha but i dont want it to be offensive! so if it is please tell me!

Not offensive to me... the name means "enlightened one" and is a TITLE... so more power to ya... might even give the critter some good karma.

btw I'm Buddhist... Tibetan Buddhist.

It depends on your intention.If your intention to name the bird is to insult Buddhist,then you are creating bad karma with your hatred.If you named the bird Buddha because you respect Him,then you are creating good karma with your compassion.
