so what should I do & who has the problem??

I really need advice.
My girlfriend has expressed to me ever since she turned 18, (she is 20 now,) that she has wanted to do Playboy . I never heard anyhing else come out of her mouth for two years.
She recently had some professional pictures made "nudes" and is sending them to Playboy on Monday. Now none of this was really a problem until her sister who personally knows Hugh Hefner's daughter said she would have a good chance of getting into the magazine after seeing pictures of her. And you can only imagine how big her head has gotten since then.Now she acts very high and mighty and her attitude is uber bitchy, so much to the point that my family is pressuring me into leaving her. And she has already said in so many words without being blunt that if she makes it into Playboy, she and I will probably be history, but then she'll turn right around and start talking about marriage. So what is her problem? Should I stay or should I go? I love her but don't want to be played for a fool.

Well if thats the way she really wants to act at 20 wait till she's 21 and can legally hang out at the bars. She may be beautiful enough for playboy now but if her outside beauty is all she's banking on in life then she wont get very far in the future. You deserve better. She'll miss her water when the well runs dry. By that time you may have moved on, met, and married the right one for you( someone whose " cash and prizes" the rest of the world hasnt seen.) Its her loss but your decision. I hope whatever your outcome you will be happy.

At the moment, she has not been accepted by Playboy and the reality is that she likely won't be. Imagine the number of women who send their pictures in!

She is acting very badly towards you. Perhaps you could suggest to her that you really don't like the new her and that if she doesn't change, she will be history! She is counting her chickens long before they hatch. She may find that she loses a number of people who used to like her if she carries on this way.

I don't think you are being played for a fool. Your girlfriend is caught up in a fantasy and she is letting it sweep her along. But if you aren't happy then I would consider moving on. If this is the way she behaves every time she has a fantasy, she is unlikely to change until she matures considerably. That might be a few years.

It sounds very much like you are already being played for a fool. She sounds like she needs a huge amount of attention and nothing will ever fill up her ego. Talking about marriage after telling you that if she makes Playboy she will dump you is only saying she wants to have someone there waiting in case she doesn't make it or find something better in the mean time.

She is telling you loud and clear you are not important to her and you will always have to cater to her whims. She does not love you when she cares more about herself than you. GO! Now! If you wait it will just be harder for you with less self esteem when she does finally dump you, and she will eventually.

I would get rid of a girl like that, if that were me in her position, I would never look down on my relationship, but hold it closer because knowing that I'm a good lookin chick I wouldn't want to get messed around with with all those photographers and sponsors, they want her to make them money and they'll tell her anything to get her to make it.

I thought about doing it, but the pressure they place upon you is just absurd and makes you into a totally different person, as is what's happening between the two of you now.

But if you have confidence in her and know that she will be with you till the end, don't give up on her, but from what you describe she doesn't sound like a pretty lady in the head.

This is a tough one. Either way it sounds like she is undecided and of course, you don't want to set yourself up for heartbreak in the long run.
Then again, she could just be excited about the oppurtunities it may give her and maybe not realizing yet what she is saying. Because honestly, when people get excited they say things selfishly at the spur of the moment.
Maybe she feels that you won't support her and is silently preparing herself for the inevitable.
Give her a little more time and come what may, if she continues to talk like this weeks and/or months from now, it will be time to go.

Well if you love her you have to sit her down alone and ask her all the tough questions, are you going to leave me if you get into playboy, is she in love with you, why does your relationship have to end if she gets into playboy? Its not easy but if you really want to know the truth, you have to ask the difficult questions. When you get the answers you can decide what you best option is and what is best for you. First of all Love is a decision, so the feeling you have for her is lust. To prevent you from really getting hurt you should leave, NOW! She sounds very confused, which is obvious, but I suppose if you like confusion in this relationship you should stay. There are many woman out there who will love you, and stay commited to you, you just have to go to the right places to find them, like a church. Hope everything works out for ya!

Why would your relationship end if she gets into Playboy? It sounds like a way of telling you , "it's gonna help me get any guy I want so don't get your hopes up."
Forget her. You can find an attractive girl who doesn't have to pose nude to reassure herself that she's hot.
