All I know is my Honduran friend says that in Brasil's large cities and Metro beach areas that everybody is having sex with anyone, even in public (like when he saw a couple doing it in a phone booth while he was looking out the window in a restaurant). Apparently nobody there is shocked by any of this, not even the police who look the other way.

He has a friend who goes yearly and sells condoms at $10 each. Last year he made $10,000 in three days. Seems the Brasilian condoms are so bad they prefer American ones as the latex does not break as often.

My friend and several other Americans rented a beachfront apartment one year and everyone there swapped and had sex multiple times each day over a three-day period, not just among themselves but also including the local girls and guys they'd invite. Most of the Americans were swingers and almost without exception husbands and wives came on this trip together (no pun intended). I turned him down flat when he invited me to go.

So much for so-called Christians ( I consider myself to be a true believer).

EDIT: forgot to say it's spelled "CARNAVAL" in Spanish

The most famous would be the Brazil's carnaval in Rio de Janeiro.

Another famous one is the Carnaval de Barranquilla in Colombia.
