This is really a stupid question...but I'll answer it anyway to prove just how stupid it is. My cousin was a premie at 27 weeks...At 17 he was married, had a part time job that would become fulltime as soon as he reached 18 (which it did) He was also a member of a rock band which brought in money and yes they had their own place and were not living off of mommy and daddy. I don't know if that would be consider an "earlier age" since I was 16 when I moved out of my parent's home and I was a full term birth...

I was 2 months early...back in 1972 and I didn't move out until I was 32 1/2 and I'm 34 now.

For me I find that I'm really close to my mom and always have been

I have an older sister that had two preemies for her only children and both of them moved out of the house to be on their own at a later age than my own children.
