im getting a chocolate lab from a local breeder. I need to learn all about them. How to train them and stuff like that. Any good online resources? thanksss

I would check with the vet you get registered with - they are a great source of all kinds of information. If the breeder is local to you, they too maybe able to assist. Good luck with your new friend.

labs are easy to train and very intelligent (thats why they make good guide dogs and hearing dogs) just be consistant and they will pick it up in no time!

there are tonnes of sites on the internet i would do a search on google if i was you.

i wish i was getting a puppy!!!

Keep it in order right from the beginning. They are very dynamic and strong and need lots of postive training and mental stimulation or they will get into mischeif and do damge to furnishings etc.

Check out www.dummies.com They have Labrador Retrievers for dummies. It goes over their temperment, behavior, prone illnesses, training, etc.

hey if you type in www.ask.com and type the question in you will get many many ideas and loads of diffrent books and sites.Also if you go to ur local pet shop iam sure they will have the books that are you are looking for hope eveything ok goes ok with the pup
