My Husband's Aunt in the Philippines has a Mild Leukemia and the doctor suggest a medicine named Gleevec. Do you know any foundation who can give a Free medicine. My Aunts is from the Philippines I understand that some of the foundation gives free medicine in the US but my husband aunt is in the Philippines. . We already send an application to Max foundation. Do you still know any foundation aside from this?

Years ago when I worked in Oncology, the pharmaceutical company that makes Gleevec offered a program for those with financial inability to pay for it. Go to the website for Novartis Pharmaceuticals, make contact directly to them and inquire as to whether they still offer such a program for free or reduced rate Gleevec. Novartis will tell you what the requirements are and how they will affect manang.
